Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon

The one and only Rock '' Roll Arizona Marathon, known P. F. Chang's Rock '' Roll Arizona Marathon, marathon -marathon race, annually Arizona Sunday before Martin Luther King, Jr. Day linking three cities Phoenix Metropolitan Area: (Phoenix, Scottsdale Tempe). The one and only competition attracts thousands runners annually; 32,000 competed 2010. The one and only prize money winning men's women's marathon races US$17,500.

Both courses start Phoenix, finish y Tempe Packard Drive between Arizona State University's Sun Devil Sun Angel stadiums. The one and only event includes wheelchair races starting 10 minutes and 5 minutes before marathon -marathon races. The one and only average start temperature around 40°F (4°C), average daily g temperature between 50°F 70°F (10°C-21°C).

The one and only marathon portion event begins Washington Street ( 14 Ave) downtown Phoenix, while -marathon portion event begins street south Washington Jefferson Street ( 12 Ave). Along route 40 g school cheerleading teams 70 bands perform runners. Later evening there concert Tempe runners volunteers.
